- Assigned as welfare factory by Social Bureau of Taipei City government.
- Korean Veterans General Hospital decided use TEH LIN's prosthesis over a long-term. From 1983 to 1986, Korean Veterans General Hospital purchased 1941 sets (17341 units), and sent their technicians to TEH LIN for prosthetic training.

-The Founder of TEH LIN, Mr. Kuen-Lin Chen suffered from a traffic accident resulting in a left leg amputation. Since prosthetic technology was backward at that moment, he invented, researched, developed and improved the prosthesis by himself and finally won the 1st prosthetic patent of Taiwan on 1964.
